These terms apply to BuildHours customers in supported English-speaking launch countries. Country-specific consumer, privacy, employment, and tax laws continue to apply where they cannot legally be excluded.

Using BuildHours

BuildHours is designed for building businesses to manage jobs, worker timesheets, uploaded plans, proof photos, labour estimates, job costing, reporting, and AI-assisted owner summaries.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, inviting the correct team members, choosing the correct roles, and checking all information before using it for business decisions.

Subscriptions

Paid plans and add-ons are billed through Stripe. Public prices are Australian-dollar base prices unless another currency is clearly shown. Stripe may present and charge an automatically converted local-currency price where Adaptive Pricing supports the country and subscription.

Taxes are not included unless checkout states otherwise. Customers are responsible for taxes, duties, withholding, and business reporting that apply in their jurisdiction. BuildHours may collect tax through Stripe where configured and legally required.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewal but does not automatically refund prior paid periods.

Trials, Cancellations, And Refunds

Trials, promotional offers, and refunds may be offered at BuildHours' discretion. Customers can manage or cancel billing through the Stripe customer portal when subscriptions are live.

If a billing issue occurs, contact support with the workspace name, account email, and Stripe billing email so the request can be reviewed.

Founding Customer Offer

The founding launch is limited by country and closing date. A place is secured only when BuildHours confirms the offer inside the workspace. The offer belongs to that workspace and cannot be sold, transferred, duplicated, or combined with another discount.

An eligible founding workspace is free until the confirmed launch end date and then receives 50% off its recurring BuildHours subscription charges for as long as that same workspace maintains an eligible subscription. Taxes, third-party charges, payment processing adjustments, and separately excluded future products may not be discounted. Cancellation, deletion, fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, or transfer of the workspace may end the offer.

Customer Data

Your workspace data remains your business data. BuildHours needs permission to store, process, display, and back up that data so the app can provide its features.

You are responsible for having the right permission to upload plans, photos, employee information, pay rates, site information, and any other business records added to BuildHours.

AI Features

AI summaries and answers are generated from the data available in your workspace. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed by a person before relying on it.

BuildHours does not provide payroll, tax, accounting, legal, employment, safety, or award advice.

Acceptable Use

Do not use BuildHours to break the law, upload harmful content, access another workspace without permission, interfere with the service, or misuse worker, customer, or site information.

Availability

BuildHours aims to be reliable, but service interruptions may occur because of maintenance, internet issues, third-party providers, or unexpected outages.

Changes

BuildHours may update features, pricing, limits, policies, or these terms as the product improves. Material changes should be communicated through the app, website, or account email.

International Use

You are responsible for confirming that BuildHours is suitable for use in your country and for configuring contribution rates, workplace cover rates, overtime settings, payroll exports, and records correctly. Labels and estimates are convenience tools and do not replace local payroll, employment, safety, privacy, or accounting requirements.
